Review the spaces and routes
Current floor plans help the designer consider partitions, access routes and the areas within the design scope. Identify proposed fit-out changes and any existing equipment that may be affected.
Understand the available system information
Provide available water supply details and existing fire services records. If those records are incomplete, the quotation can identify the further information or investigation needed before the design is finalised.
Record the design basis
Confirm the applicable requirements, layout and documentation with the responsible designer. General statements about hose lengths, coverage or relationships with hydrants should not replace a project assessment.
